Our charming family sports hotel greets you at 1'803 meters altitude, directly at the foot of the Corvatsch, the ski slope and the ski lift Cristins.
LIVING We have 22 individually furnished rooms, as well as 2 apartments, in different categories for 1-4 people. Some rooms have a balcony with views of the mountains.
DINING In our two restaurants, we treat our guests to à la carte dining, half-board or our popular cheese fondues. On our sun terrace, with views of the mountains, you can relax and unwind over coffee and cake or an aperitif. Our rates include a generous mountain breakfast buffet as standard. Depending on your mood, you can book our attractive gourmet half-board option or a Dine Around package to complement your stay.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND MOUNTAIN RAILWAYS Free ALL-INCLUSIVE SUMMER mountain railway tickets, including transport for bikes and dogs, from a minimum of 2 nights’ stay, valid for the entire duration of your hotel stay on all mountain railways in the Engadin. Free public transport tickets for guests and dogs from the second night onwards, valid from the day of arrival (winter & summer).
CHILDREN Children are very welcome here. Our restaurant is a member of the ‘Eviva Familia’ scheme and offers a children’s menu with colouring activities at the table, a play area, books and high chairs, as well as a nappy-changing table. Bottle warmers are available on request.
DOGS Are very welcome. Please let us know when you make your booking. We charge a one-off fee of CHF 18.00 per stay.
RELAX Relax in our Vivaia sauna area with steam room and infrared cabin, or make use of the well-equipped fitness area. Various massages can be booked at reception, subject to availability.
PARKING We have a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces. Or you can simply use one of our underground car park spaces (limited). Further outdoor car parks are available within walking distance of the hotel. Municipality of Silvaplana car parks.
ELECTRIC CHARGING STATIONS In Silvaplana at the West roundabout (camping/surfing area) at the former Muntanella petrol station, there are six high-performance charging stations from Ionity ready for you. Swiss Ski School Corvatsch / Ski Lift Cristins. These can be found right in front of the chesa surlej. The ski lift Cristins (platter lift) is the ideal place for young and old to learn the ski and snowbaord sports. Choose between private or class lessons. Here also the trail starts into the cross-country and skating paradise Engadin.

Engadin Bus (included with ski ticket) and Silvaplana Shuttle Bus (free) You can leave your car. The free buses stop right in front of the chesa surlej hotel.
Important to know. Children: up to 2 years free. From 3 years to 11 years pay for an extra bed CHF 35.00 per night including breakfast buffet, with 2 full-paying guests in the room. Teenager and Adults pay for an etxra bed CHF 50.00 per night including breakfast buffet. Dogs: One-time cleaning fee of 18.00 CHF per stay with up to 2 dogs in the room.
